One of the themes I am working with this year is aerial views. This quilt is one of them and it for Voyage. I live in the Netherlands and every spring you can see these colorful tulip fields. Size of this quilt is 12"x17" and all the fabrics I have used are my own hand dyed ones.
And as it is a Friday, I am linking this post to Nina-Marie's Off the Wall Friday.

What a wonderful subject and wonderfully depicted!
This is wonderful and reminds me of the beautiful tulip fieleds we saw when we were there in 1993.
We also had a chance to visit and the tulip fields were breathtaking. You've done a wonderful job of capturing the colors.
Lovely use of color in an abstracted way.
best, nadia
Beautiful color! I'd love to see those fields some day.
Theme for the year, eh? An interesing concept that I'd never thought of trying.(In fact some of my friends are doing the word-for-the-year thing, and I have resisted. My ideas are pretty random. I like the bright colors of your tulip fields.
Great job Wil! Very vibrant colors. Rosemary

Beautiful! I would love to see those fields in person.
Very evocative of tulip fields - very vibrant and a great composition
I'm looking out at a snowstorm right now so dreaming of tulip fields is just what I need! Your fabrics are beautiful!
