continued
Easter means for me a couple of days off or in other words full time studio time :-). I continued working on the background I showed 2 days ago. Maybe a bit unusual, but I prefer to do the quilting before I add the applique. For this quilt I used a metallic blue Madeira and quilted in wavy lines. Here is a detail of how the top looks now:

Nice - really like the quilting design. May be a bit unusual, but very smart to quilt before adding the applique.
