Sorry - I can't be wordless about that! Oh, this is just the sort of thing that catches my attention and inspires my quilting. I always end up anthropomorphizing what the trees are up to with those unusual shapes.
Glad you got a photo of that tree. Alas...it is no more. Really missed it the other day when we drove by and I noticed it was gone.
