Abstract

Abstracts are still difficult for me to create, but I am satisfied with this one. I made it for Katie PM's class. The 'rules' for this class were to use  neutrals for the background, 2 shapes - a dominant one and a supporting one - and a specific composition and color scheme. My choice was for an asymmetrical composition and an analogous plus complement color scheme. The color wheel I worked with had 18 steps, so the differences between them are really small.
Size is 12"x12". And as I find it hard to find a name for an abstract, this is called 'Abstract 1'.

You SHOULD be satisfied. That's a good composition and use of color. I like it a lot.
