Fractured flower

It is some time ago that I posted a picture of the four pieces I received from the fractured flower project. Last week I stitched everything together and quilted it. And this is how it looks now:

Top left is made by me, top right by Karen. Bottom left is made by Gena and bottom right by Kelly. Size is 17"x21"(42x52 cm). We had so much fun with this project that we are starting a new one. This time 10 of us will each make 10 canal houses. These will be swapped so that we each end up with 10 houses made by 10 different people. In size this project is bigger, but essentially it is an easy one as there will be less lines which have to match than with this flower.
Coming months I will be working on those houses - in between other projects -, due date is November 30.

Was een leuk project Wil! Ik ben benieuwd naar het grachtenhuis project ( Als ik het tenminste goed heb vertaald?)

The flower is gorgeous! I love this sort of group effort. can't wait to see the houses in November.

Thank you again for the beautiful cloth you dyed and gave away (to me!). I love it.

Can't wait to see the houses later in November. Can anyone join you in these challenges?

Wat is dit leuk geworden, de vier delen passen heel mooi bijelkaar. Ik ben benieuwd hoe het met de grachtenpanden zal gaan. Ook een leuk idee.
