For the metamorphosis challenge I am working on a second piece. Some time ago I showed you the drawing. This is how it looks now:
The flowers are made from more than a hundred hexagons. All distorded so all unique in size handpieced to eachother using the paper piecing method. They are now stitched to the background. Next step is to quilt and to add something to the flowers. They are a bit dull at the moment.

Wat een werk is dat geweest,al die hexagonnetjes! Maar het resultaat is heel bijzonder. Ik heb er nog even je vorige bericht bijgehaald,met het ontwerp. Je hebt het prachtig weergegeven!
Oef, wat een werk moet dat geweest zijn. Jammer dat de foto zo klein is, nu kun je de hexagonnetjes niet zien (en daar was ik nu juist zo nieuwsgierig naar).
